Brian May and astronomy

Guitarist Brian May wrote a dissertation on astronomy In 1971, the guitarist of Queen abandoned his academic career and devoted himself to the group that he founded with the late Freddie Mercury. Today, he is coauthor of the book "The blast! Complete history of the universe.

Founding

Despite the fact that a group called Queen appeared in 1970, everything started in 1968. That was when Brian May and Tim Staffell, studentsat the Imperial College in London, decided to establish their own group. To find a drummer, Brian decided to hang an announcement in the college.
