The beginning
Farrokh Bulsara, who would later be called Freddie Mercury, was born in Zanzibar on September 5, 1946. His parents were representatives of ethnic and religious community Parsi in India . Farouk spent his childhood in India and in 1964 his family went to London. 
There Farrokh , who since childhood is very much interested in music is recorded in the School of Arts. It requires him to work – at Heathrow and in the shop for second hand clothes. Meanwhile, he founded several musical groups, but without success.
In 1970 Brian May – guitar and drummer Roger Taylor met a young man, shy and quiet, with no special musical training who wished to make a group and baptize her Queen. At first they did not like the name and strongly oppose him, but Farrokh Bulsara was able to convince them. They hardly know that at that moment write the history of contemporary music. At the same time Farrokh officially changed his name to Freddie Mercury. From then until the end of his life he will not speak publicly nor for his name nor for his Indian roots.
When in 1971 to the three joined bassist John Deacon, Queen was already in its full composition. The group will exist 27 years as over 21 of them, Freddy will be its frontman.
